A few helpful answers before getting in touch.
When do I have to pay VAT as a self-employed person in Belgium?+
If you file quarterly returns, VAT is in principle due by the 25th of the month following the quarter. For monthly filing, it is due by the 25th of the following month. NovaTax keeps track of your deadlines to avoid any delay.
Do I need an accountant to set up an SRL/BV?+
To incorporate a private limited company (SRL/BV), a financial plan is legally required. An accounting professional helps you draw it up, choose the right structure and start your accounting and VAT obligations correctly.
What is the difference between a certified accountant and a tax advisor?+
The certified accountant keeps and reviews the accounts and prepares the financial statements; the tax advisor focuses on tax and lawful optimisation. These roles are now brought together within the ITAA and are often carried out jointly.
How does a first appointment work?+
The initial consultation serves to understand your activity, your needs and your deadlines. It carries no obligation. Afterwards, NovaTax proposes suitable support, set out in a quotation.
